Draft pending legal review. This document is a complete working draft. Items in [square brackets] are company details still to be confirmed. It will be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before we take payments or rely on it; until then, contact m.shafih.akbari@gmail.com with any questions.
In plain words
Cancel any time from the billing portal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
If you're a consumer in the UK or EU, you can withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days and get a refund for the unused part.
1.Cancelling a subscription
Organization owners can cancel at any time in Billing in the app, which opens Stripe's billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the current monthly or yearly period, then moves to Free.
Nothing is deleted when you downgrade. Designs remain readable and exportable in the formats the Free plan includes; if you are over a Free limit (for example the number of projects), you can still open and export existing work but not create more until you are within the limit.
2.Consumers: the 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, you may withdraw from a new paid subscription within 14 days of the day you subscribed, without giving a reason. To withdraw, email m.shafih.akbari@gmail.com or use the contact form with a clear statement, for example: “I withdraw from my contract for the Autonieer [plan] subscription started on [date].” You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you don't have to.
Because the Service is digital and starts immediately, at checkout we ask you to request that it begins during the withdrawal period. If you then withdraw, we refund the amount you paid minus a proportionate amount for the days you had the paid plan. We refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, to the original payment method, at no charge to you.
[If a digital deliverable is supplied in full during the 14 days with your express consent and acknowledgement, the right of withdrawal may be lost for that content — counsel to confirm whether any part of the Service is treated this way.]
Model withdrawal form. To [Company legal name], [Registered address], m.shafih.akbari@gmail.com: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the supply of the following service: [plan], ordered on [date], name of consumer, address of consumer, date.
3.Business customers
For business customers, fees are payable in advance and are not refundable except where these policies or the Terms say otherwise (for example if we remove a material feature or end the Service) or where the law requires. Seats added during a period are charged pro rata; seats removed take effect at the next renewal.
4.Renewals and price changes
We remind you before a yearly plan renews and give at least 30 days' notice of a price change. If you forget to cancel a yearly renewal and contact us within 14 days of the renewal charge without having used the renewed plan, we will refund it. [Confirm this goodwill term.]
5.Billing errors and failed payments
If you were charged in error, tell us within 60 days and we'll correct it. If a payment fails, we retry and notify the billing contact; if it remains unpaid after [14] days the organization moves to Free, without deleting anything.
6.Your statutory rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights. For consumers, digital content and services must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose; if they aren't, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or price reduction.
